‘Pag inggit, pikit’: Ellen Adarna Clarifies Backstage Access to F4 Reunion Concert, Slams Basher
MANILA, Philippines — Actress Ellen Adarna has firmly clapped back at a netizen who accused her of receiving “special treatment” to gain backstage access at the star-studded “F Forever 1st World Tour” concert.
The controversy ignited after Ellen shared social media updates from the highly anticipated F4 reunion show held on Saturday, June 27, at the Philippine Arena. Among her posts was a video and photo alongside F4 member Vanness Wu, whom she met behind the scenes.
While the posts drew excitement from longtime Mandopop fans, one netizen publicly criticized the show’s local producer, Live Nation Philippines, implying that celebrities and influencers were unfairly given exclusive VIP perks over regular fans.
The basher’s comment, which Ellen later reposted on her Instagram Stories, read:
“Sorry, but just wow backstage access! @livenationph u never disappoint us! I’m waiting to see which celebrity or influencer is backstage at BTS.”
‘It’s Simply Called Friendship’
Setting the record straight, Ellen clarified that Live Nation Philippines had zero involvement in her backstage pass. Instead, she revealed that her access was entirely due to a personal connection through her longtime friend, model and TV host Rovilson Fernandez.
"Before spreading false information please fact check first. Vanness personally gave us backstage access through his friendship with @rovilsonfernandez. Live Nation had nothing to do with it."

Ellen went on to explain that her friendship with Rovilson predates her time in show business, and that Rovilson and Vanness have been close friends for years.
“They simply wanted to catch up, and we were fortunate enough to be invited along. Sometimes it’s simply called friendship. Next time, verify your information before making accusations,” Ellen stated, capping off her response with the viral phrase: “Pag inggit, pikit” (If you’re jealous, just close your eyes).
The F4 Reunion: Who Was There?
The “F Forever 1st World Tour” served as a massive nostalgia trip for Filipino fans who grew up during the early-2000s Meteor Garden craze.
- Performers: The concert featured original F4 members Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu, and Vic Chou.
- Special Guest: They were joined on stage by Ashin, the lead vocalist of the prominent Taiwanese rock band Mayday.
- Absent: Original F4 member Ken Chu did not participate in this leg of the reunion tour.
